About Us

The current families that are living and working the Milbourn Ranch are: David Stackley and his father Arlan  Stackley. Mary Milbourn Stackley, David's mother and Arlans wife,  passed away in 2019. David's wife , Faith Stackley is a RN. They have two  children Madelyn and Cade Stackley. They help the dad with ranch work.  To learn more about the History of the ranch, click the learn more button.
David Stackley has been helping horses with people problems and people with horse problems since he can remember. He offers  "Cowboy Colleges" that are a week long.  He utilizes the work of the ranch and the terrain to help people get into a partnership with their horses.

David has made it a quest to work in quiet harmony with his horses and cattle.
Tom Dorrance  and Ray Hunt   

Both have been a great influence on David‘s horsemanship along with Bud Williams http://www.stockmanship.com/ in his cattle work. Like all teachers,David continues in his learning.

 When Lee Smith   http://www.leesmithdiamonds.com/ , a long time friend and fellow Clinician , is in town. They will spend time sharing what they have learned in their horsemanship.
